Who are Atherton House Group?
Atherton House Group are a family-run nursery group based in the North West of England, supporting children’s growth and individuality to inspire healthy, happy and confident children. We pride ourselves on providing a nurturing ‘home from home’ approach.

What problems were you facing?
We used lots of paper and had inconsistent processes across our group of nurseries. There was inconsistent and insufficient communication with our parents about their child’s learning.
How did eyworks help?
We looked initially to move away from paper at our settings back in 2018. We had an online learning journey software at one site but were mainly using Excel and paper. With plans to expand our group and with remote access being essential, eyworks (eyLog at the time) offered the most complete package.
eyworks allows us to streamline our processes and focus on the more personable and rock-face tasks. We make use of the insightful reporting and having been a customer for the past 6 years feel they’ve evolved alongside us and looked to create solutions to issues we share with them.

What is it like now that eyworks is in place?
Overall the software allows us to support the settings as Directors with the more menial day-to-day tasks whilst also giving the Managers of our nurseries the one-stop software to handle enquiries.
Our team really like eylog and using tablets to record the children’s learning journey. Our parents love how they get so much insight into their child’s day and we get lovely messages back from them about posts which really helps team spirit throughout the day. Something additional we didn’t expect.
